I got two lamp pigtails and wired them under the seat and blacked them out with ele. tape....why buy resisters when an old lamp will do.

Also, as an insurance policy, I ran an extra #10 ground wire from the rectifier to the neg. pole of the battery.......took out the middleman, so to speak:)

Other than the color coding and possibly the length of the spark plug wires, is there any reason why a left coil wouldn't work on the the right side (for 2 & 3)??? My right coil went deep sea...

If u just finished the rebuild, I assume that u ground the valves. Over time the exhaust valves build up carbon, therefore when u reshim it as part of a tune-up u are adding thicker and thicker...

The fuel and air lines are proper, and yes that would cause gas to spew into the airbox....this problem is specific to the #4 carb only...I have had them all apart before and cleaned them up and they...
