so I just came in from head removal, and the #1...

so I just came in from head removal, and the #1 exhaust valve is clearly bent. With the head off you can look in the exhaust port and see light around about 1/2 the diameter of the valve.

Biggest difference I see between turbo and nitrous is that your turbo is making boost all the time - and with nitrous you can choose when to use it.
