I am still puzzled by the tight rear bearing. I put some oil on it and moved it around and I see muddy lubricant coming out:

No joy saving the rear needle bearing. The needles don't come out as I imagined. Something seems wrong, even though it rolls without without any glitchy, notchy behavior. It just seems too tight.
