Yamaha Parts Sources

Folks,

Check these out:
http://www.boats.net
http://www.yamahasportscenter.com

I just ordered from the latter and will report. The first got good ratings on the 650 email group.

Bike Bandit is a website where I get a little carried away with the credit card.

http://www.bikebandit.com/

They have schematics for the different bikes to help you locate which part you want, then order from the list below that section, ie: carburetors or electrical systems.

They have both of my bikes listed so I can look up parts. That doesn't mean they have all the parts available though but they do pretty well, I've found.

On top of that they have a decent selection of gear, and they carry joe rocket which so far is the only brand of gear I have been able to find armored pants from to fit my fat body that isn't either custom or over $1000 for the gear.

I purchased most of my vintage parts at:

http://www.powersportspro.com/

The service is good and they seem to have most available parts.
