Okay folks, to assist each other in being able to search for members that might be close to "US", I'm creating a collection of location threads to post in.

**Also, Please Edit your Member Profile by putting your Area Code ### into your ICQ# field, to allow Advanced searching of the Members List!**

Please post a message in the appropriate thread location, and include your Forum Handle;
Name if you want to;

your zip code but only the first 3 numbers, using the format:
zip### NO SPACES

your area code, using the format:
area### NO SPACES

City, State: DON'T USE THE STANDARD 2 Letter state abbreviations, needs at least 3 letters for proper search, so spell out the state, and use the 1st three letters in ANY SEARCH. See threads for spelling to use for searching.

Example:

Your post is still there. Use the search tab at the top of the page to look for 'members california' and you will be directed to the California, Nevada page. You're about half way down. Following TC's design for the page, you can also use the search tool to look for 'zip950*', with the search tool selected for "Show Results as Posts" to get just a short list of folks who should theoretically be pretty close to you. Taking the same search back to 'zip95*', again with show as posts gives a bit longer list.

Good idea, but even better - have it as part of the new member registration.

After registering as an XS Frapper, I found that the little bubble for my house was actually over the state pen. I don't think I live at the pen. If your bubble isn't right, you can edit it. my location is now correct.;)

Already registered ... Hiding out in South Carolina.

C'mon guys (and gals) so far we're up to 58 members ... and I know theres a whole lot more of us on here. Lets get those locations listed and marked. This could be great for planning a nice weekend road trip.

How do you edit your bubble? I have a mispell in mine and my bubble shows me living on the wrong side of the tracks. (Those days are behind me now :D )

Seems that there is no editing at this point (it's at a Beta site) but I can remove your previous Bubble and you can create a new one.

You could try to add another shoutout (Bubble) with the same name and see what happens...
