I had Mac 4 to 2 and no leaks. Possible you did not tighten the clamp tight enough? I really cranked mine down. Maybe you did not slip them on far enough?

After I picked my bike up from mechanic I noticed my kick start flopping around. I never use it, but maybe they did,..who knows. I had to remove it because I was in a pinch and could not figure out...

It's not poorly designed, I'm sure it was purposely designed that way. Some people weld a steel pan to the frame....cause that's what they want. If function was the goal, they would not have stripped...

Sorry for delayed response to this thread. The culprit to my slipping clutch under power at high rpm's and trouble finding neutral were cured by a cable replacement and adjustment at the lever.

All of you are right,...it's not built for comfort.

The pegs would need to be under you on a hardtail otherwise it's a guaranteed...
