broken front brake cable

Hello I left my bike on a meter yesterday when I came back it had been knock down. So the mirror and handle bar broke. Also the cable that goes to the caliper (looks like a bicycle cable) was pulled in the floor. Does any one have picture of these?. I am not sure how to put that cable back. Looks like I might have to take the caliper apart and lift off the gas tank. Is this a hard repair? Thanks.

There are no cables that go to the calipers... They are hydraulic, and have hoses. The only "cable" that comes from the bars is the clutch cable that goes from the left grip to the clutch cover on the right side of the engine.

Any idea what happened to knock the bike over? That really sucks...

Is it maybe the speedo cable?

Yes it is the speedo cable. It sucked but the repair should not be so bad. I havent got one yet. I ordered new bar end mirrors and grip. That should get me going till I get the speedo replaced.

pretty sure I got a spare available if you have any trouble finding it... has the pick up for the wheel on it as well...came with a lot of spares when I bought my bike
